Given a hypersurface X = V(f) in a complex projective space, we say X is dual defective if the Gauss map of X, the restriction of the gradient map of f on X, has positive dimensional fibers. Especially for cubics, there is an interesting classification of them. We will study several types of dual defective cubic hypersurfaces and the relation between them.
