Yotsutani Naoto, Chow Stability and Non-symmetric Kähler-Einstein Toric Fano Manifolds

In 2001, Donaldson proved that if a polarized manifold (X, L) admits constant scalar curvature Kähler metrics in c₁(L), then (X, L) is asymptotically Chow stable whenever its automorphism group Aut(X, L) is discrete.

In this talk, we show that this result does not hold in the case where Aut(X, L) is not discrete.
